Bark in the Park dog festival announced for downtown Tampa

A huge outdoor market wait ha giant dog park set up at the center. Spectators gather around the small green fence.

Tampa is one of the most dog-friendly cities in America. Our beautiful spacious parks, array of pet-friendly restaurants, and bars dedicated to dogs, make this place a pet owner’s paradise. The community is invited to join The Humane Society for some fun in the sun during Bark in the Park. This dog and family-friendly outdoor festival features adoptable animals, fun activities for dogs, vendor booths to stroll through, food trucks, libations, and music at beautiful Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

Bark in the Park 2023 supports the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, who saves over 13,000 homeless animals each year. You can donate to support life-saving efforts, or register to form a Pack, bringing together a team of friends and/or family to raise money as a group.

The event is set for Saturday, February 11 from 11am-3pm. Those interested in attending can see all the details on The Humane Society’s website. You can also show support for the event by entering as a lone wolf, or joining/starting a pack to raise vital funds for The Humane Society.

Curtis Hixon Park is located at 600 N Ashley Drive, and is right along the beautiful Tampa Riverwalk.

Our dear friend Adam Goldberg, founder of AGoldPhoto Pet Photography, is partnering with The Humane Society to raise $10,000 for the shelter, with a 3rd Fundraising Coffee Table Book.

The Fundraising Coffee Table Book titled, “Tails of Gratitude – A Collection of Thank You Notes from People to Their Pets” is a way for pet parents to thank their pets for everything they do for them and help raise $10,000 for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay
