JetBlue launches nonstop flights to Aguadilla from Tampa International Airport

JetBlue has launched nonstop flights from Tampa International Airport (TPA) to Aguadilla, Pietro Rico. The new Aguadilla-to-Tampa service is uses the Airbus A320 aircraft. In total, JetBlue will fly up to five daily departures from Aguadilla in 2023.

“As the largest airline in Puerto Rico, we are thrilled to continue diversifying our network and to further grow JetBlue’s presence on the island with the addition of these two new routes,” JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes said.

“We’re excited about the news of additional JetBlue direct flights between Puerto Rico and the US mainland,” Puerto Rico governor Pedro Pierluisi said. “These two new flights will help us to continue on the path of growth in our tourism sector. We look forward to building on JetBlue’s success in Puerto Rico.”

JetBlue expands service from Tampa to Puerto Rico

There’s so much to do on the west coast of Puerto Rico. At Aguadilla’s Crash Boat beach, one of the most iconic beaches in Puerto Rico, the waves of the Atlantic Ocean captivate surfers of all experience levels. This hot spot is easily recognizable by its distinctive pier. Wilderness Beach, Wishing Well, and Surfer’s Beach are among the many other local spots that are well known in the surfing community. 

The Museo de Arte de Aguadilla y del Caribe (MAAC) features work from prominent Puerto Rican artists including Luis Hernández Cruz, Rafael Tufiño, Antonio Maldonado, and Francisco Cervoni. Built into and around a huge banyan tree, Casa del Árbol in the waterfront Parque de Colón is a beautiful and dreamy treehouse.

Frontier Airlines also has plans to launch nonstop flights to Aguadilla from TPA.
