Taste of Boston is a relaxed waterfront restaurant in beautiful Ballast Point Park serving New England style seafood and Ice Cream. They are a full service, dine in restaurant with inside, outside covered/heated patio and uncovered patio seating. This gem has been a part of Tampa for years, but in late 2022 it came under new ownership. The restaurant celebrated its big grand opening back in June, and it continues to serve a top notch lobster roll.
The restaurant is famous for its addictive hush puppies, the “lobstah” roll, the Captain’s fried seafood platter, clam strips, and bang bang shrimp basket. Their menu also includes grouper tacos, and blackened basa tacos that reviewers have raved about.

You can also find ice cream at the restaurant, which is rather clutch during the hot summer months here in Tampa. This waterfront gem is tucked away at Ballast Point Park. If you haven’t enjoyed a walk here, I highly recommend you treat yourself to a visit to the pier. You can also easily access Bayshore Boulevard from the park.
